AMR ‘AASPHOTA’ STARTS

A film on well planned killing of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi – crux of the film ‘Aasphota’ commenced the shooting procedures in Jayanagar today in the presence some of the top former cops like Karthikeyan, Ramalingam, Gopal Hosur, K Srinivasan and others. How the assassination was planned is the earlier portion but director of high reputation AMR Ramesh already made a film called ‘Cyanide’ on the Rajiv Gandhi assassinators.

To collect relevant data it has been 20 years research traveling to 20 countries says AMR Ramesh. He posed as journalist and collected startling data that even the CBI is not aware. The chances of missing assassination and its later course of action are also dealt in this film. In Aasphota it is a narration of 101 days revealing some of the untold facts. The shoot will be held in Bengaluru, Tamil Nadu, Srilanka and New Delhi. This is a film made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.

The key role of former top cop Karthikeyan is chosen separately for all the languages. Apparently Tamil actor has been consulted on this film.

The formal announcement day of ‘Asphota’ was also birthday of director AMR Ramesh. He has received the script from the former top cops.

The film slated for release on May 21 next year, the day of Rajiv Gandhi assassination says AMR. Sandeep Chowta music, Rathnavelu is likely to be cameraman of this film. The shooting starts in November this year.
